Bet9ja Foundation Empowers 65,000 Nigerians In 31 States
No fewer than 65,000 Nigerians have been empowered throughout 31 states by Bet9ja Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Nigeria’s leading sports betting company, in the last two years. Ada Cuomo, the existing Executive Director (ED) of the structure, revealed that the foundation was enthusiastic about enhancing the lives of Nigerians by carrying out life-altering programs that empower residents and through providing the required facilities. Cuomo explained that the foundation has carried out 1,8 jobs throughout its 5 pillars, such as education, health care, neighborhood infrastructure, youth empowerment and sport, since it started operation 2 years earlier. She said the Foundation has different youth empowerment programs, consisting of the Young Executive Program (YEP) and the Scale-Up Accelerator Program. These programs, she mentioned, goal to support youth development, entrepreneurship, and task development. A breakdown of the benefiting geopolitical zones exposes that the South West has 110 tasks, the South-South had 28 tasks, while the South-East has 26 tasks. The Executive Director explained that the structure also focuses on education, leadership advancement, and mentoring through initiatives like the Undergraduate Scholarship Program and the Graduate Employability & Entrepreneurship Summit (GEES).

Cuomo further worried that the foundation empowerment program was focused on things that would create income to beneficiaries, noting that recently, empowerment training for craftsmens was arranged across Nigeria, after which they were empowered with clippers, hairdryers, sewing makers and numerous others.
She included that the structure currently exists and carries out programs in thirty-one states within Nigeria, with plans to broaden to the states, consisting of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), quickly.
